OMG! I am absolutely OVERJOYED to have witnessed Ali do her first Monty Roberts Join-Up with her horse Charlie this morning. To put this in perspective so you can all join us in our happy dance, I had to lead one of the horses to the round pen for Charlie to follow and yet he still behaved like a leopard was about to snatch him and galloped off down the road, but after Ali did the Join-Up, this previously skittish horse, FOLLOWED HER DOWN THE ROAD TO THE PADDOCK WITHOUT A HALTER AND LEAD. FOLLOWED HER DOWN THE ROAD TO THE PADDOCK WITHOUT A HALTER AND LEAD. He even let her pick up his feet in the round pen, something you couldnt previously do outside of his stable. The complete change in this horse still has me gobsmacked and Ali tear-stained. Round of applause!
