In their desperation, they wear the void on the outside. Without shame, they lose their selves. i disagree, i think in making public our innermost feelings we are purging ourselves of the shame we feel. we are brave enough, or should be, to let other people judge our inner beings and in so doing, take the burden of self-judging from ourselves and with other people’s insight we are able to see ourselves in a new light and often times find that the shame we felt was self imposed and unnecessary.
